AceThin is intended for professional use only. It is an aggressive general purpose solvent used to reduce the viscosity of Wood Kote nitrocellulose-based lacquers, acetone-based dye stains and solvent-based polyurethanes. It is recommended as a substitute for LaqThinT-99A (lacquer thinner) and PolySolvent (mineral spirits) where regulations require dilution with a VOC exempt solvent. AceThin will dissolve dry lacquers and is therefore, recommended for general clean up of application tools. AceThin is recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an exempt Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) as outlined in the requirements for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance (AIM) coatings (effective 13Sep99). AceThin is known by such trade names and terms as lacquer flatening agent, lac flat, lacquer flatener, lacq flatining and ace thin. AceThin Product Data Sheet (98,26 KB) AceThin MSDS (24,32 KB) |
