Product Description:

Jel'd Stain 550 & 250 are intended for professional use only. They are formulated for interior wood surfaces such as casework, doors, trim, paneling and cabinets. They match the corresponding colors of original Jel'd Stain and Liqwid Stain 550 & 250. Jel'd Stain 550 & 250 may be applied to bare or bleached wood. They are compatible with a variety of other Wood Kote products. Please refer to the Wood Kote Schedule of Product Compatibility and Recommended Dry Times. Jel'd Stain 550 & 250 comply with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission requirements for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance coatings (effective 13Sep99). Jel'd Stain 250 complies with California SCAQMD Rule 1113 (effective 14May99).

Coverage

One application of Jel’d Stain 550 or 250 will cover approximately 1250-1500 sq ft/gal (30,6-36,8 m2/L). Recoating is not recommended.

Composition & Properties

Jel’d Stain 550 & 250 are fast-drying semi-transparent pigment wood stains. They are intended for application without thinning. If thinning is desired, PolySolvent (mineral spirits) should be used or, if regulations require a VOC-exempt thinner, use AceThin (acetone).

Types

Jel’d Stain 550 & 250 are available from the factory in 25 colors plus Natural. Jel’d Stain 550 & 250 can be tinted with Korrect-O or Perfect-O colorants to achieve a wide variety of
custom colors.

Sizes

Jel’d Stain 550 & 250 are sold in 12-floz (335ml), 32-fl oz (946ml), 1-Gal (3,8L), 5-Gal (19L) and 55-Gal (208,5L) metal containers.
